Since 1992 the Alfa Romeo 155 has been used by the Polizia di Stato (Italian National Police). The Polizia di Stato selected the T.Spark 1.8:
- MVS code 167.266.0(0) | T.SPARK 1.8 POLIZIA, based on the T.SPARK 1.8 MEDIA'92;
- MVS code 167.166.0(0) | T.SPARK 1.8 POLIZIA MY.95, based on the T.SPARK 1.8 BASE MY95;
- MVS code 167.066.0(0) | T.SPARK 1.8 POLIZIA, based on the T.SPARK 1.8 MEDIA (16V).
From 1992 to 1996 the Polizia di Stato ordered >5,500 vehicles.[1]
The 155 Polizia is still in use.

- No. 938 Azzuro Polizia: T.SPARK 1.8 MEDIA'92, T.SPARK 1.8 BASE MY95 and T.SPARK 1.8 (16V) MEDIA.
The radio number was fixed on the roof.
