
Sunday 6 June: 53° Coppa Selva di Fasano, 4th race of the 2010 Italian hill climb championship (C.I.V.M.) took place in Puglia, "the heel" of Italy.[1]
Among 274 registrations[2] three original Alfa Romeo 155 touring cars participated[3]: in Gruppo E1 Italia Classe 2000[4]: one 155 TS Gr. D2 1995 driven by Luigi "Gigi" Sambuco (N° 86); in Gruppo E1 Italia Classe oltre 3000 [4]: one 155 GTA driven by reigning champion Roberto Di Giuseppe (N° 73) and another 155 GTA driven by Eugenio Molinaro (N° 74).
Update 6 June, 2010 14:59 (1st race): Gr. E1: 1. Iacoangeli, 2'29.83; 2. Di Giuseppe; 3. Giuliano; 4. Molinaro; 5. Sambuco.
Note: the 155 GTA of Roberto Di Giuseppe was missing its 5th gear!
Update 6 June, 2010 16:12 (2nd race): race stopped following an incident involving a spectator.
Update 7 June 2010: final results based on results 1st race.
The second round was canceled following an incident which involved a spectator. Nearly arriving the finish line Lorenzo Mossucca lost control of his Formula 3000 and was finishing off the road colliding with the unfortunate spectator who was immediately transported to Perrino Hospital.
